Your Park Needs You
By joining the Friends of Bishop’s Park, you’ll have a chance to help look after our beautiful green space — from planting and wildlife care to litter patrols, eco projects, photography and social posts, storm clean-up, and more. Whether you come once a month, or once a year when needed, your time and ideas matter.
It’s a great way to help nature, meet others, support our environment, and reconnect with the seasons — under the trees, beside the river, surrounded by life.
Members get updates on park issues, a vote at our AGM, and can access funds for small improvements. Under-18s are welcome to participate with an adult. Be part of something bigger.

The Gardening Club
General gardening work around the park under the guidance of the Head Gardener — planting, weeding, tidying and the occasional bigger project. Meet by the bowling green / Teahouse café. Additional dates shared on the WhatsApp group.
The Litterpickers
An hour of fresh air that makes a visible difference, from the riverside to the play areas. Meet at the fountain by the sandpit entrance. Times vary, so join the WhatsApp group to be kept in the loop. Under-18s welcome with an adult.
